Back in Seattle- Socality Meetup and More

Annnnnnnddddd we're back! Back to the rain and clouds, hello to a new quarter and the cherry blossoms!

I know, I had to go full lame and take a pic of the quad with the cherry blossoms, but seriously c'mon guys how gorgeous is this campus? I think they purposefully place admitted student preview days on days where these are out... (worked on me). Now that I have a 6D, I just keep it in my backpack and bring it to class/wherever I go in case I do something cool and not say "dang it I wish I had my camera" because we all have those times and they suck

First day back, I got to hang out with my good friend Everett from California. Had to take him to the quick/easiest place to experience a little PNW, classic Snoqualmie. The amount of times I've been here is ridiculous. I ended up taking pictures of it anyways but I've never seen it this HUGE. MAN was it pumping!

Sweet Everett. I've known this guy since 5th grade and he's just such an awesome man of the Lord. And he's super hot and super single.....

Volunteer Park's Conservatory is pretty sweet! Get's pretty warm in there though (go figure Andrew it's literally a green house)

After getting our fill on photos, we headed down to Rachel's Ginger Beer (my personal favorite) on 12th to show Everett a little taste of Seattle. Boy was the new POG seasonal flavor sweet!

Two days later and I end up at Volunteer Park again, but it wasn't a bad thing! The sun was out a lot of the week and I was stoked. Seriously, I know we Seattle people may exaggerate a little but I literally saw a group of guys at my school in Hawaiian shirts, shorts, flip flops, sunglasses, visors and carrying a frisbee. And it was pretty much the first sunny day. And it was still hovering around 55 degrees. Soooooooo yeah. Everyone's pretty exited!

CHERRY BLOSSOMS. And Cait!

See? We get sun!!! Couldn't resist this bush (shoutout to Donnoven for being a total model)

Yesterday there was a Socality meet up at Rattlesnake Ledge which I somehow haven't hiked yet. This was an awesome event! Around 150 people showed up to hike, take photos and just hang. Met some pretty sweet people too!

Unfortunately, there were a ton of clouds and it rained pretty much the entire time so we didn't get much of a view. Luckily someone brought a smoke-bomb-thing and it made for some pretty sweet photos!

I can't decide whether I like this black & white or the color (at the top) better...

I have no idea who this is but mad props to you for jumping in the water because it was a bit chilly out... Made for a sweet pic! Thanks again to Socality for setting up the meet up and Moment lenses for the pizza. Socality is a pretty sweet group that cultivates community and spreads the love of Jesus through events such as these. It's so cool meeting a bunch of other Christian creatives, I've never felt so comfortable with a group of strangers. I probably didn't do the greatest job of explaining what Socality is, but if you want to know more go check out their website! (click on this!)

And that wraps up my week! Can't wait for more sun, longer days and more adventures!
